Can I attach my dipink email to a mobile device? Yes, you will be allowed to attach game email addresses to mobile devices for this game. Can I have mail to my dipink email forwarded to a separate address? Yes, you will be allowed to have your emails forwarded to different addresses. However, we ask that responses be sent from your dipink accounts. In addition, orders sent from addresses other than your dipink account will not be accepted. Also, mail is automatically forwarded to the Archives (qlh@dipink.net) and players. Please do not remove this account from the auto-forwarding list. Will transfers of supply centres be permitted? No, supply centres will change hands as per normal Diplomacy rules. There will be no territorial transfers. Why do we have dipink emails? Official Reason: These emails help the GMs enforce Redscape House Rules. Real Reason: The GMs like to read your emails/chats to get an idea of what's going on in the game. We make predictions and, often, find how horribly wrong we were. But that's the fun of it. Can I change my password? Yes & No. You cannot change your password without GM approval. You can request a GM to change your password and we'll be happy to do so. How do canals work? Panama, Alexandria, Kiel and Constantinople are all provinces without coasts. This means that a unit from a water-body on one side of the territory can first enter the territory and then proceed to another water-body. For example, to move from the Red Sea to the Eastern Mediterranean would involve first moving through Alexandria. |
